A PARTILHA É A ALMA DO NEGÓCIO

“O segredo é a alma do negócio” diz um velho aforismo do qual nunca gostei.

Até que, um dia, alguém propôs:

“A alma é o segredo do negócio”.

Agora sim!

Interpreto esta frase no sentido em que não podemos fazer nada, seriamente, sem paixão, sem uma entrega total de alma e coração nos permita evoluir de forma a criarmos algo verdadeiramente relevante.

E a paixão está intimamente ligada à partilha. 

Daí, que acredito na partilha como um exercício diário e natural, onde transmitimos o pouco que sabemos e tentamos aprender com os outros tudo o que nos possa enriquecer.

Todos os dias aprendemos qualquer coisa e um dia em que não se aprende nada é um dia perdido. 

Por isso, acredito que a partilha é alma do negócio.

Assim, nasceu The Sound Adventure.

The Sound Adventure pretende ser um espaço de partilha acerca de tudo o que há de interessante acerca do universo sonoro e do nosso maravilhoso sentido auditivo.

Aqui falar-se-á de ruído, música, soundscapes, de decibéis, de Identidade Sonora, acusmática, surround, espaços, experiências e tudo o que venha a propósito.

Virão à baila assuntos que nos deixem a pensar e nos façam prestar mais atenção àquilo que ouvimos.

Vou tentar que tudo seja dito numa liguagem que todos percebam, sem se perder o rigor e exactidão dos conceitos e informações.

The Sound Adventure é um Blog aberto e desejo que fique cheio de comentários e colaborações que o enriqueçam, como merece um tema que nos é tão querido.

Por último, queria explicar que será em Português e Inglês, porque acredito muito mais no valor das comunidades do que no dos países e, ao longo destes anos, fui ganhando muitos amigos por aí fora que não falam a minha primeira língua.

Espero, pois, que se divirtam, comentem e que aprendamos todos.


SHARING IS THE SOUL OF BUSINESS

“The secret is the soul of business” states an old Portuguese saying which I never liked.

Suddenly, someone suggested:

“The soul is the secret of business”.

Now we’re talking!

I like this sentence in the sense that one cannot do anything serious without passion, without a total commitment from the heart and soul, in order to  evolve and thus create something truly relevant.

And passion is intimately connected with sharing. 

I believe in sharing as a natural daily practice, were we give our little knowledge and try to learn with others everything that could expand us.

We learn something everyday and a day without any learning is a lost day. 

Having said that, I believe that sharing is the soul of business.

That’s why The Sound Adventure was born.

The Sound Adventure aims to be a space for sharing everything interesting around the universe of Sound and our amazing auditory sense.

Here, we’ll chat about noise, music, soundscapes, decibels, Audio Branding, acousmatics, surround, spaces, experiences and about everything that is related to Sound.

Matters will pop up that make us think and pay more attention to what we hear.

I’ll try my best to write it all in terms that everybody will understand without losing the rightness and truth of the concepts and informations.

The Sound Adventure is an open Blog and I wish that it could be crowded with comments and collaboration that might enhance it, as such a dear subject to our hearts deserves.

Last, I’d like to explain why it will be simultaneously in Portuguese and in English, or pigeon English, at the best .That’s because I rather believe in communities than in countries and, throughout the years, I’ve been gathering a lot of friends who can’t understand my first language.

So, I hope that everybody has fun and we all learn.
