Ten thousand viewers in less than a year!

I started this blog almost one year ago.

When I decided to go for it, I didn't know if I would be able to create enough content to keep it rolling, whether I would have time for it, or if people would pay attention to what I wanted to write about.

My friends told me: "Don't start one, if you feel you can't commit."

The outcome surprised me. After a shy start, The Sound Adventure went out of my country's frontiers and started spreading slowly through the sound community.

4 925 came from Portugal, 2 523 from the US, 517 from Germany, 361 from Brazil, 261 from India, 231 from Russia, 126 from Thailand, 96 from Ukraine, 85 from the UK and 84 from France, those are the Blogger's statistics.

That's, essentially, what I was interested in. 

I built  bonds with some of the more interesting researchers throughout the World. People like Bernie Krause, Simon Forrester, Marc Anderson, my friend Julian Treasure, George Prochnick, David Lefty, David Hendy, Priscilla Laud, Sushei Hosokawa, James Lastra, Roger T. Clarke, Trevor Cox, David Toop, Daniel J. Levitin and many others inspired my thoughts and I hope I was able to properly deliver their remarkable work to you.

I started a Facebook page, also called the Sound Adventure. Some of my friends and others felt like posting interesting stuff by themselves. It was really wonderful!

My aim is to go on forward, with your support as readers, my main motivation, sharing our common passion for sound and music.

Thank you very much for being around, clicking and spreading the word.

Dez mil visitas em menos de um ano

Comecei este blog há menos de um ano.

Quando tudo aconteceu, eu não sabia se iria conseguir criar conteúdos suficientes para o mater activo, se teria tempo para isso, ou se as pessoas se iriam interessar por aquilo que eu queria escrever.

O resultado surpreendeu-me. Depois de um começo tímido, The Sound Adventure saiu das fronteiras do meu País e começou a espalhar-se lentamente pela comunidade do som.

4 925 foram de Portugal, 2 523 do Estados Unidos, 517 da Alemanha, 361 do Brasil, 261 da Índia, 231 da Rússia, 126 da Tailândia, 96 da Ucrânia, 85 do Reunio Unido e 84 da França, são as estatísticas do Blogger.

Isto era, basicamente, o que eu desejava .Criei laços com alguns dos mais interessantes investigadores na área sonora em todo o Mundo. Pessoas como Bernie Krause, Simon Forrester, Marc Anderson, my friend Julian Treasure, George Prochnick, David Lefty, David Hendy, Priscilla Laud, Sushei Hosokawa, James Lastra, Roger T. Clarke, Trevor Cox, David Toop, Daniel J. Levitin inspiraram a minha escrita e espero ter trazido com êxito o seu trabalho até vocês.

Entretanto, criei uma página de Facebook, também chamada The Sound Adventure, onde amigos meus e outras pessoas se sentiram com vontade de colocar coisas interessantes também. Foi fantástico!

A minha intenção é continuar em frente, com o vosso apoio como leitores, meu estímulo principal, partilhando a nossa paixão comum pelo som e pela música.
